      Worst Management EVER.

      -Great Team Members. -Paid on time

      Cons

      -Got ZERO pay raise as the company never believes in rewarding you. I was working 12+ hours a day and was never appreciated. -CEO, Support Leaders are pathetic with no vision, no sense of professionalism and no experience. No wonder the company is falling to the grounds. -Selfish management. They only think of themselves and their pay, they don't even think of their team or the freelancers. I was working at their HQ and they treat worse than you can imagine. They have 6+ tracking softwares and high-level of micromanagement.

      Lost its way

      Pros

      Work flexibility including ability to work remote. Good salary, benefits, stock, 401K.

      Cons

      The company seems to have lost its way. We used to focus and embrace the great mission of connecting clients and amazing talent to make the world work. Now it seems to be all about the $$. New leadership is pedaling vision which is focused on making $$, nothing else seems to matter. In addition to that, there is a "my way or highway" mentality from leadership, extremely dis-engaging.

      Office environment was great before we went fully remote due to COVID, pay is good if you're hitting goals, good benefits

      Cons

      Goals are unattainable because they are always changing - leadership comes out and says one thing and then changes it a few weeks later. Too much time spent in internal meetings and writing up documentation for internal meetings. Upwork has a huge culture of favoritism, if you were at Upwork pre IPO you are definitely treated better than newer employees. Middle managers lead by fear
