Pros

No pros but if your financial condition is not good and you don't have any choice then only go for it otherwise try somewhere else its just waste of your time working here And in hand salary is around 10 to 11k

Cons

I had such a bad experience working here I worked for canada visa application center and I worked for 13 to 14 hours a day also some days i left from office at 12 at night. here they only want slaves they will make you work even the managers said me to skip my lunch i had my lunch at 5.30 in the evening . Once you work here you won't have time to apply in any other company as you would be exhausted. They will slaughter you and even your OT is not sanctioned I didn't receive my 2 months OT even after giving justification my OT was rejected. Managers here don't work at all just just sit and sometimes managers are rude they say "are you blind don't you know how to work"

Pros

Multicultural environment, mostly young people working as submission officers trying to be positive and cooperative. The applicants can be really fun and interesting people as well.

Cons

The working conditions in this company are completely UNACCEPTABLE. Let's start with the terms and conditions in your contract where basically you have to opt out from almost all of your labor rights. You are hired as a contractor from an umbrella company which basically you have to pay in order to pay you. You are on a three month contract for at least one year before they offer you a six month and after that maybe after two years you become permanent. You get sick or you want to take a day off? You don't get paid. Lot of mistakes in payments so you have to be extra careful and keep an eye on your clocked in hours and your payslip. The salary barely reaches 1300 quid per month provided that you have worked full nine hours per day the whole month with no absence. The responsibilities and pressure do not worth for this salary let alone that the company is understaffed. Break time is one hour in total for 9 hours per day plus it is monitored by managers in case you defect from your allowed time. Regarding the facilities, it is completely unhygienic that you have to work in a room with maybe 60 or 70 people waiting for hours to get served without proper ventilation.Only one toilet for over 30 workers, otherwise you can share with the applicants. The small kitchen is constantly overcrowded, no room to eat and the company offers instant coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. Some of the managers might know their job but they don't know how to manage a team, unfortunately. A lot of self learning, no formal training, repetitive tasks. My induction took place after a month I was already working there. Basically the company does not care about investing in employees which results in a constant turnover of people who come and go every three months, most of them completely dissatisfied with the way they are being treated. If there is a slight chance to get promoted you need to wait at least two years or more but almost no one wants to stay there that long. Many employees are trying to do their best but the way the office is organized does not help. Applicants are getting really dissatisfied but VFS does not seem to care very much in order to improve its customer service
