Pros

Nothing, nothing, n/a, show off

Cons

Hire and vire own employees. Each manager has his own vendor. They focus on vendors more rather own employees.

Pathetic culture and management

Business Outlook

Pros

Salary is paid on time

Cons

1. The work culture is plagued by favouritism and cheap politics. 2. The global success mantra at VFS seems to be “Work soft, Suck up harder”. 3. The appraisal system is just a mockery and the ratings are based on the whims and fancies of the reporting manager. Also the lateral movements and internal jib promotions lack transparency. 4. Most of the work involved in directly processing visa applications is done by the frontline staff at the centres. However, they are paid low wages, on third party payroll, work long hours without any benefits and treated badly. 5. VFS maintains a huge team of nonvalue adding staff in various departments at their corporate offices who seem to be doing nothing worthwhile. 6. Most of the staff at the corporate offices are also looking forward to retire at VFS as the experience or skills acquired here are not transferable to other companies/sectors. 7. VFS operates like a privately run mafia group with anyone challenging the status quo being persecuted or employment terminated without any reason and notice period. 8. The senior leaders think of themselves as Lord Falklands with highly inflated ego and all they seem to be doing is warming their fat ars.... in their cabins looking at reports and email and farting away to glory. They are actually good for nothing. 9. These parasites are very highly paid for very little work and it would appear like they are enjoying charity income from VFS and feeding off the hard work of the frontline operations staff. 10. The senior leaders are also highly abusive and discriminatory based on gender and caste. Some of them are also exploiting the female staff by demanding sexual favours in return for job security and promotions.
