I grew tired of management treating people as resources. Management would make a decision, teams would adjust to execute on the new vision, and then not receive management support on following that vision. Management would often hand a team a code-base built by another team and expect them to just "pick it up." It is as if management didn't understand the cost of handoffs. The lack of diversity in leadership is telling. They seem to want to do the right things, but they have a long way to go. Ask around, and you'll hear stories.
