      Pros

      If you want to work somewhere where the growth rates of the business are phenomenal, then look no further. The appetite for VMware's core technology by both partners and customers alike is overwhelming. A wonderful brand name and thought leadership from the senior management team make it an attractive place to be.

      Cons

      The rapid growth has led to a number of problems of scaling. In terms of process and market coverage they find it hard to keep up. This leaves the "middle management" with a the tough role of trying to make do and also the pressure of the expected growth can sometimes lead to confusing decisions.
