I loved working for vmware. when i joined in 2010 vmw was on the rise and everyone was happy and super helpful. Over time company went through couple of round of lay offs. This did not change the basic culture people are still nice and helpful.

Cons

IT on shore and off shore to India model doesn't well. There are too many meetings to resolve minor issues because of this model
