Pros

Solid company, values technically skilled individuals. VMware is stable and growing with a strong outlook. The company has great benefits and a great casual campus in Palo Alto. Generally the people are talented and kind. The work can be very rewarding.

Cons

VMware does not seem to value US-Based non-technical people. Most of this work has been sent offshore. While there are talented people there, it devalues similarly talented people in the US
