+ Nice headquarters campus with free snacks/beverages + Still some very smart people trying to battle it out + Exciting vision, building upon a winning flagship product

Cons

- Top leadership team is not cohesive and they have each brought in their own cronies from past companies - Top leaders are not held accountable -- if there is bad news, they scapegoat someone and don't take any responsibility for their own actions - Too many acquisitions that employees do not understand and that are not well integrated into the main company - Employees are not allowed to make decisions - There is a premium on moving fast and executing, but no time is spent on planning so people move in different directions and decisions change daily - There is a lot of backstabbing and power grabs, especially by withholding information - There is generally a lot of mistrust between teams, groups and orgs

- Customer Operations and Finance is without leadership and experience - although VMW is a products company with great engineering - business operations execution and financial management is extremely weak - Lack of teamwork and corporate culture
