Great technology, great engineers, not so sure about the upper management.

Lots of hard problems to work on, and frighteningly smart people to work with.

Cons

Certain parts of the company (like mine) often get swamped due to having multiple (between 2 and 5) releases in flight at the same time. Since the departure of Diane Greene, the MBAs have taken over. The folks at the bottom of the org chart have very little clue as to what's going on in the minds of the folks at the top of the org chart.

-Very interesting and deep technology -Good work-life balance, if you want that -Plenty of projects if you want more work on your plate -Get to work with some smart eningeers

Cons

-Very low transparency -Employees are treated by upper management like children -Unnecessary cut backs in benefits -Hiring freeze hurting product development -Not very meritocratic, most people get promoted for staying a long time rather doing a great job -Bad feedback on performance
