Pros
Overall, the culture is one of co-operation. Certainly, within teams everyone helps each other. Most people I meet are friendly. Working for a growing, profitable company means good bonuses and hope that stock options will remain valuable.
Cons
While most people are friendly, there are a number of engineers that don't know how to communicate. Yes, this is true in many companies, however the ones I'm thinking of are in highly senior positions. They may be right most of the time in their judgements, but how they express themselves can make the work place feel hostile. The fast growth and slow learning (the products are complex) can make for a frustrating environment at times. Especially when it's difficult to find someone who knows the origins of some module. The fast growth also brought in some low talent engineers and managers.
