      Pros

      The best reasons to work for VM Ware are that they are located in a beautiful city on a beautiful campus with beautiful facilities. The C E O is the best. . .she is very helpful and very good leadership. I would highly recommend this top notch company to any prospective job-seekers.

      Cons

      The downside of working at VMWare are the salary which are most of the time - - non-negotiable. While the benefits are pretty decent they are not the best and the quality of life aspect of the job is not that great either. Some of the other tech companies offer more comprehensive packages that promote a better quality of living. . .

      Pros

      VMware is the market leader in the emerging space of x86 virtualization. We're a growing, Engineering focused company with products lines that run from the Enterprise to the Desktop to Consumer markets. If you're interested in having a big impact at a company working on truly disruptive technology, VMware's one of the few companies out there for you.

      Cons

      Our support for remote workers could be better. If you're not working out of the Palo Alto or San Francisco offices, you may experience some random pain from time to time (for example, the link to the primary RCS servers running in Palo Alto might randomly not be as speedy as you'd like all the time).

      Pros

      Great people who really believe in the technologies that they're working on.

      Cons

      The culture is going thru a growth phase as the company moves from several hundred people to several thousand. Processes, procedures and habits that used to work well don't scale. The company needs to adapt to this while not losing the core of the culture.
