VMWare benefits are OK and some really nice people

Cons

All that has been mentioned - decent people are leaving in droves, for more salary but more importantly becuase of the managers. Those who are in the clique have done very, very well out of the VMWare takeover, while everyone else is slugging on. Bad morale, really bad management, no communication, no career growth and a feeling of "the sinking ship". Stay away at all costs unless you really, really need a job

Favoritism is widely practiced in Airwatch. Management consistently offers some employees the best and most highly-regarded projects, even though those employees do not perform well enough to deserve them. Company morale is very low. No matter what you do, your efforts won’t be rewarded if you’re not one of the favored few that often will try to frustrate your activity. Do not expect human resources personnel to conduct an investigation: they have a mortgage to pay. A lot of things are compromised in this process and it is a slap in the face of those who have dignity, integrity, and the commitment needed for their work.

VMware is a very important company in the enterprise software market. There are many amazing opportunities to work with great people and to make an impact on a global company.

Cons

The new leadership team has caused a departure for many of the top people and they no longer dream big. There is new instability caused by the proposed acquisition of the company by Dell.
