Pros

Good compensation (if you negotiate your salary during the job interview, or else, you'll be stuck) Possibility to travel to US or Europe Looks good on CV

Cons

The center has seen a lot of people leaving but currently it's unable to hire good ones (brain drain with only WPPs being hired). People are leaving because they are underpaid or they found something more interesting to do. The place wast turned upside down with the big focus on metrics and Csats. A TSE is someone who has to take calls, close a minimum of x cases per day and at the end of the day, will also have to keep customers happy (while most of times there is no proper training for new or existing products). Feels like working on a factory. Company has a multi-cultural environment but 95% of the management is Irish.

Pros

- The people are by far the kindest and most competent people I have ever worked with. - The training is awesome. - Free snacks and meals. - Tuition reimbursement. - Looks good on a resume.

Cons

- The pay is not industry standard. - The culture is dying and nobody that can do something about it will. - The work load is immense. - Staffing feels like we are always 20-30 people short. - Management is starting to get "Micro Micromanagey" - No career path. - No set salary ranges. Someone with little/no skills can start work today as a TSE Level 1 and be making more than someone that has been there for 3-5 years and is a Level 3.

Pros

Work life balance is excellent. When my day is over no one expects me to answer a phone call or reply to an email. VMware GSS hires mainly by cultureand as such we have a great team of people to work with. Compensation is fair and the benefits are great.

Cons

I work from 10 - 7 PM - would like more classic hours. It has not always been clear regarding what needs to be done to move up the career ladder here. We are busy!
