Pros

If you remain in company for more than 4 years , No need to work , just redirect the work with out knowing anything. You can have frequent small onsite trips for 2 to 3 days. Dont work Just hire some contractors asked them to achieve the tough task, screw contractors your job is done

Cons

Never join Vmware IT team , specially sales team . There is no learning in the team , even on the lunch time , Team would be discussing only office politics , these person is bad, i screwed these contractor etc etc . People have just stayed here for longer time , they dont know even single concept of programming , design , architecture. All the work done by contractors from Accentures , Deloitte. No Learning when it comes to learn technical concepts. Frequent fights between the management and employees . Good people leaving the company only chamchas can stay here

Pros

Vmware brand. Reasonable Compensation. Culture is better than other companies in India. Vmware is a good company with some great leaders and engineers. It is a very employee friendly company with good benefits and policies.

Cons

The cons listed here only applies to EUC Desktop Bangalore group - - Fearful environment – No body dares to speak against the Director, If you speak you will be thrown out of the bus. Firings are mandatory twice a year January and July. - Middle-level management is only a message broker from top to bottom. There is no message broker from bottom to top. Middle level management lacks basic management and technical skills. Managers only follow commands from the Director, they are not allowed to voice their opinion, if they speak they will be axed. - Undue favoritisms - based on how much time you spend with the Director, who is completely perception driven and lacks fundamental rationalism. - No process around appraisals. They use some random number generator biased with favouritism. - Non existent HR - Consistently poor ratings in internal employee survey which is far low than vmware standards - HR doesn't exist. - Join any team in vmware but never join EUC Desktop team in Bangalore.
