      I've been with VMware for 8+ years now and I can say it's an excellent company to work for.

      Good benefits. Competitive pay. Good work-life balance communications

      Cons

      They are in the midst of going from smaller company culture to the large company they are now. The benefits are in flux. - Medical has been changed last 3 years. Higher deductibles and less choice. - Profit-sharing (twice annual) is undergoing changes. - 401K match has been canceled at least for the time being.
