Very easy job, nice people and environment. Decent pay considering its a supermarket job - £8.50 I think (I was 19 then). Also had I stayed it moves up to about £10 I think. Cheap and good food in staff canteen. Good for a part time student job. You can add extra hours to your shift week by looking on this board with extra days and takin them. Also very good training.

Cons

Not many cons, but it can get boring and mono-tonal.

Pay ranges for Supermarket Assistants are up to £10.61 depending on location and the relevant skills and experience.Training is key and the Partnership are focused on ensuring that this is set at the right level for each role and it is good that this was something you were able to take advantage of.
