Pros

good plan for future of company

Cons

walgreens has forgotton that the customer comes first, then those that serve the customer (store employees), then the rest. the stock holders supply monies, but the store employees earn the monies. supervisors only advise, they do not earn. supervisors need to remember that.

Pros

Walgreens is a great company that really does care about it's employees. There are many opportunities for advancement. I enjoyed working for Walgreens.

Cons

As an assistant manager, it is a little harder to get certain days off. However, the company tries to work around your schedule the best they can.

Pros

Best Pay in industry for retail assistant manager Great Profit Sharing matches 2:1 first 2% of salary 100% guaranteed no vesting. Variety of work, tasks, duties. Feels like you get involved in how to run a business. Upper Management listens, good open door policy.

Cons

Horrible work/life balance Unpredictable hours during a work week, never the same, always changing Under staffing makes daily work more difficult and very stressful Depends on what store you are put in as far as difficulty of job, can be transferred at any time miles away
