Pros

The best reason to work at Walgreens is that there are so many pharmacies you can work at, so you don't spend time and money to get to your job. Second, you can impact the lives of so many people that visit these pharmacies educating them about the use of their meds and health products.

Cons

There is no work and life balance because you will probably end working night shifts and holidays if you are not a manager. They do not have rotative shifts as they tell you when they hire you. Also, ther is no double pay for working extra hours, just pay and a half.

Pros

Pay levels are above most other retailers, stores are everywhere and you can request transfers to other districts, secure job

Cons

Management style at the store and district level is very poor. Most district managers are rude and show no concern for employees or their careers
