Pros

Jobs are always available at Walgreens some of the staff is tremendous - wonderful people to work with

Cons

Absolutely NO work life balance as an asst manager, you work mostly nights and you are nothing but a glorified stock boy. Walgreens forces people to transfer to other stores without even consulting the employee about the feasibility of the move. You either transfer or leave. There is no regard for the safety of their employees you are expected to report to work even when the governor declares a statewide state of emergency. If you have chdren, forget working here as you are not allowed to have a life outside the store. Assistants took a huge paycut. Most found out accidentally through email. There aS no advance notice.

Pros

If you have a great staff and your interested in a career as a pharmacist then working as a tech is a great experience and plus when applying to pharmacy school.

Cons

You have to be a people person and be able to handle demanding and at time angry customers.
