Pros

Most of the employees do a good job. The company is big enough and growing that you can find a position in every state in the country.

Cons

Walgreen stores are open on all holidays including thanksgiving and Christmas. Assistant Managers and Executive assistants transfers are sudden and take effect immediately.

Pros

great pay, great benefits (especially 401K and stock options), excellent technology (especially Rx processing software, best in business in my opinion), well trained techs

Cons

no seniority in regards to weekends/ nights/ holidays (you work them even if with the company 20 years), often reduced to glorified cashier, little time to counsel, no lunch breaks, health insurance could be better, personal growth is stifled (crawl/walk/ run corporate mentality).
