Pros

* The culture is AMAZING! * Management ecourages open and honest communication. * Management encourages open dialogue for new ideas and ways to improve satisfaction (employee and cutstomer). * Mutual respect from all "levels" of the organization. * Flexibility with time off * They say they only hire nice people... and it's true!

Cons

* Because no one ever leaves, there is limited opportunity for advancement. * It feels like we are gradually being taken over by Walgreens (we currently a subsidary) and I just hope their culture and business acumen doesn't infect ours! * IT communication and effeciency needs to be corrected.

Pros

Flexible scheduling when fully staffed (managers can be understanding of incorporating school schedules) Hourly rate is fairly decent compared to other part time jobs that you could have Vacation time accumulates over the years and amount of hours worked

Cons

No Sick leave given at just over 20hrs/week Because of pay cuts, hours have been cut back, leaving both the front of the store and the pharmacy short for help Corporate level doesn't seem to understand that it is extremely difficult to continue providing adequate customer service (which they champion) when there aren't enough people to take care of all the customers because hours have been cut Not much room for growth On your feet all day without much time to sit down No bonuses

Pros

They at least give you plenty of hours, but that's only if you're competent. Vacation time is acceptable. Sometimes you get a friendly manager.

Cons

Management doesn't really care if you're sick or injured, you still get written up for being absent. The compensation isn't acceptable for work done. No bonuses. People call in sick all the time and you always end up being the only tech on duty with usually 400 prescriptions to type into computer, fill, and ring up daily. Co-workers are very cliquey and two-faced.
