Pros

Good pay and decent benefits

Cons

I'm not sure about all Walgreens, but it's very difficult for someone to get fired. Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes it's bad. Management is a pain. It takes many times asking to get a request approved (job position, hours, time change, etc). In my experience, it has been like pulling teeth getting the right position and hours that I need. Walgreens also doesn't pay 1.5x for holidays which makes me very upset. You have to work at least 1 or 2 holidays per year (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, and New Years). You get holiday pay, which is a percentage of a percentage of the hours you work all year. I made like an extra $40 over the holidays, it's ridiculous. If you're going to pull me away from my family who I love and would rather be with on holidays, then at least pay your employees Walgreens. Don't be so cheap!
