Pros

Great benifits and profit sharing options. There is a VIP account which is like a savings account with money taken directly from your check that you can take money from 4 times a year. It really helps when you really need the money.

Cons

You need a degree in business to become an assistant manager or higher. They don't care whether or not you have been there 10 years, you need to be at least going to school for business to get any kind of manager position.

Pros

Ive been with Walgreens 3 years. The pay is great and it is like a big family. It is by far one of the best companies to work for. They have excellent advancement opportunities and they look out for the employees best interest at all times. They work with everyones schedule. I dont understand why so many people have so much negative things to say about walgreens. However, every district is different. You cant compare Walgreens as a whole from a opinion based on one store or even one district.

Cons

It can be hard labor at times, but the pay is decent and you have to do the hard labor to work your way up. That is the same with any job really. If you dont like to work hard and are afraid to sweat, this isnt the career path for you.
