Pros

Great benefits and lots of opportunities depending on who you know or sometimes just being in the right place at the right time.

Cons

Retail setting results in long hours including weekends and holidays. Lot of managers shouldn't be managers but are because of connections.

Pros

The technology (computer system, robot, etc.) aids me in doing my job and greatly surpasses other pharmacy chains. The workflow design actually works to promote efficiency unlike my experience at another chain (it hindered efficiency). Pharmacist overlap every weekday is a plus that can not be beat (I actually get a lunch break). Time and a half for overtime is great compared to the other chains of time plus $6.

Cons

The volume of prescriptions filled in a day can be stressful.

Pros

Pay is the only reason to work for walgreens

Cons

Terrible management. Pharmacy is run by non pharmacist or pharmacist who have never worked in a pharmacy. They hire the worst pharmacists in the industy.
