Pros

I liked cashiering, nice customers. It took a couple of customers to get the hang of and had an intuitive POS. The managers and coworkers are helpful with answering questions. Employee day every now and then where you get a 40% off discount. Rare though. Normal discount is 15%. Coworkers and managers are amicable.

Cons

There was no proper on floor/photo training, so I had to work on figuring it out as the weeks went by. I was mainly put on cashier, so it was difficult when customers asked where something was because I wasn't taught. It got better when I started to get put on stocking but still, up to me to figure it out and it wasn't very intuitive. It would turn from quiet to super busy lines at the drop of a hat and most of the time, there were only 2-3 people on the floor, so it was hectic. On top of that the CSA has a lot of responsibilities: cashier at front or backup cashier, fulfilling photo orders, taking passport photos, stocking and fixing the shelves, making displays, doing online orders, changing price tags, cleaning up, answering the phone, assisting delivery drivers, and you do most of these tasks simultaneously. We always had to push the credit card. I asked nearly all eligible customers and after checking out hundreds and hundreds of customers not a single one said yes.
