Pros

chances to excel in the medical era (helps you get a pharmacy technician license)

Cons

Everything! Walgreens is nothing but gossip. I have been working for this company for over 3 years and recently notices that everyone hates me at the job. One person already tried to get me fired over nothing, and now I have found out that two of my shift leads hate me. The only reason I haven't been fired yet is that everyone needs me. As the head of the photo department, the senior employee, and pharmacy technician. They will never find someone like me. I am sick and tired of this job. I am done. I am now looking for another job and hope I find one soon.

Becoming less happy with Walgreens every day

Pros

If you're in a good store with a good manager, it's not a terrible place to work

Cons

Doesn't pay enough for the work we do. Managers get transferred all the time, often with a day or less notice. Hard to maintain loyalty that way. Store managers unwilling to budge on scheduling, won't even consider giving anyone a regular schedule.
