Pros

Paid time off, both personal and vacation are pooled into what is known as PTO and can be used or banked. Training, Walgreens will train you for any position in the company, Want to be a Pharmacy Tech? Walgreens has classes and certification allowances in place.

Cons

Corporate uses metrics as the end all be all and if you or your department aren't meeting expectations, for instance if you're short staffed, you won't get any new hires or help until you meet the expectations. Basically you have to prove you don't need help reaching the ever changing goals before you can get help. The squeaky wheel gets oiled, until it won't stop squeaking then it gets replaced.
