Pros

Will train Raises every year Good place to start

Cons

Upper management doesn't understand pharmacy policies or how busy it is and request insane projects be completed that doesn't further anything. Always understaffed and at my store since we kept getting good stores they kept cutting our hours saying that if we can get all that done we don't need as many people/hours. Walgreens pays their techs the lowest in the area most other pharmacy's start their techs $3-4 more an hour. Only one promotion oppritunity to Senior Tech and they cap how much a tech can make per hour.

Pros

Lots of hours and easy to change schedule.

Cons

Over worked and underpaid. Hard to get promoted and no incentive to do so. I now work at Walmart, and even though it's not great, it is far better than Walgreens.
