Pros

I have a DM who is very supportive and nice to work for. My Team Members are great and we have an awesome team. Most of the customers are fine too - just treat people well and they'll do the same in return. Not rocket science here.

Cons

Frontier Program (lots of extra work with no extra hours), FedEx pilot, Beauty programs, cutting payroll hours over AND OVER again, cutting Profit Sharing sharply, cutting other benefits, expecting more to be done with less, letting older stores get run down and not maintaining them...I really wonder what the heck is going on sometimes. I'm ready to leave, but unfortunately I can't make my current salary anywhere else starting out. So I'm sticking around and doing my best to keep my store and employees (AKA Team Members) happy so my life runs more smoothly. And no, I'm not in my 50s - I'm in my upper 30s. Ugh.

Pros

If you enjoy working with people and you like the retail setting then this place is for you

Cons

Management has gotten worse over the years.. insurance is costly and is lacking every year . To get the best coverage you have to pretty much mortgage a house. Supervisors and managers have favorites and if you are not it then watch out . Very disappointed with the lack of assistance from the Managment team. Constantly cutting hours and they expect the same level of dispensing in 15 minutes which at some busy stores is beyond not possible without compromising patient safety.

Pros

I can't say there are any pros. It did teach me that I never want to work for a company like Walgreens again.

Cons

No support from corporate. If any harassment happens to you, then you are on your own. To top it off, the environment consists of customers always yelling at you.
