      Abusive Relationship with Employees

      Pros

      (Small) discount at stores. Flexible Time Off for higher level positions.

      Cons

      Leadership lacks direction. Leadership demonstrates no accountability. Leadership lacks experience. Highly toxic culture. Do not care about their people. Bonus / Long Term Incentives are used to lure employees in and then metrics are changed to make sure they pay out minimally (or not at all). Pay no longer keeps up with cost of living.

      Pros

      There are very good people who work at Walgreens from Manager level on down. For those "regular joes", they work hard to do the best they can with the support they are given.

      Cons

      Promotions and achievements are not given out fairly nor according to HR standards. Much of your success is based upon whether you are liked by Sr. Management or not. If not, it's best to move on to another company.
