Pros

Great place for junior engineers, plenty of opportunities and larger than life projects.

Cons

No innovation, very stiffling environment. COE (Correction Of Error) is really CYA. If you think different and don't like to settle for the staus quo, avoid at all cost. The most miserable years of my life.

Pros

There is Great Work/Life balance. You can work for just 40 hours and be amongst the most hard working associate Good pay- pay checks here fat.

Cons

Lack of respect for others time Very few smart people around No room for expression of ideas or providing opposing views from that of senior leadership/Manager/ ... no skills development no metrics to evaluate progress or performance at any level wasteful investment, no incremental/continuous change mentality (needed for retail)

Pros

Everyone hates Wal-Mart, but honestly, it is not a bad company to work for. The individuals that work there become a family, and the company does believe in work/life balance. The competence and fairness of your leadership within your facility will determine your happiness within the company.

Cons

The company does lack decent healthcare benefits, but that is to be expected in this economy. Secondly, the company is so large that it is easy to get lost in the shuffle.
