Pros

Fun company culture Lots of company rah rah's if you are into that Nice people to work with

Cons

Leadership: they keep turning over resulting in ineffectiveness Lots of layers: if they don't want to promote you, they'll just keep layering people on top of you Bentonville: they get the final say Politics: whoever has the best PR spin wins Growth: good growth but not for a growth company. They aren't where they need to be.

Pros

Salary and bonus's are pretty good. Employee discount of 10% which is nice.

Cons

They preach "work life balance" where in reality you are expected to work unrealistic hours. Healthcare insurance horribly expensive and huge out of pocket expense with very high deductibles. Very political, if you can't talk a good game and build relationships in high places to further your own career then you may not fit.

Pros

Flexible scheduling. Manager did what she can to make sure we were happy with our schedule. Not really anything else I can say positive about Walmart.

Cons

ALways short handed and you can never get a positive review. They always had something bad to say about you to prevent you getting the highest raise possible for an hourly employee.
