Pros

Health benefits are amazingly affordable, Friendly envirmonment, Advancement opportunities, Great co-workers, mostly competant managers (sometimes you get a dud!) I would definately work for this Company again.

Cons

Every company has disgruntled employees - don't just assume it's all bad because one person is complaining, Retail = working weekends and holidays

Pros

Wal-mart is a good paying company. It has it's problems just as there is in every company. It pays it's managers well. It has good growth opportunities.

Cons

It can take a long time to get a job or a promotion at Wal-Mart. There are a lot of people going for the same job so you really have to learn how to interview and look good to stand out in a crowd.

Pros

I enjoyed working for them because they have good company values. Managers were rewarded during the year based on the store performance.

Cons

Must become an walmart employee for more than five years to be considered for a manager position. There is growth potential but it will take a while before your performance is recognized.
