Pros

Pay is pretty good, schedule is either 3 days on 3 days off or 4 days on 4 days off overnight. Work with some good people who actually do care about doing a good job.

Cons

Limited payroll that keeps getting cut. Company programs not always followed at store level. Working the holidays, every year.

Pros

*Tasks are relatively simple to learn *Better pay then fast food *You get 30min-hour lunch depending on how long your shift is including one to two 15min breaks *30% off discount card after three months of working there *You get to meet a lot of people

Cons

*Seems like everyone is being hired as part-time or being demoted to part-time *The customers. You'll never see so many POS that think you should be lucky to lick the grime off their boots. They'll usually be the ones to sour your day. Their word is valued over yours. *Walmart seems to be a haven for kleptomaniacs and your bonuses are affected by how much shrinkage (loss) your store has. *If you have a bad manager or fellow co-workers you will not enjoy this job. It's like High School all over again.
