Pros

I love my coworkers my first 4 years were amazing and I thought the culture was excellent and a team.environment with a lot of opportunities. However, more and more store leadership came on board and they don't understand e-commerce. I like that you can move around since it's a big company with a lot of open positions.

Cons

Leadership has continued to go downhill and treat people as disposable. When the layoffs happened it was fine and all except they emailed everyone that it was happening 2 weeks before but with no context or answers so everyone panicked. Once the layoffs took place they treated the laid off employees like criminals not allowing them to pack up their desk and had security guards escort them to their cars! When they finally got around to packing their desks their stuff shipped was broken or items missing. The email address they gave for assistance didn't work and the postage on the severance return envelope wasn't even enough! Just complete lack of respect for many people who worked extremely hard for this company and who I consider great friends and good people who just lost their jobs. HR should also be fired for completely poor handling of a layoff, they happen you can do it in a respectful way- I have a feeling there will be high turnover this year with the leadership team they put in place and with the restructuring everyone is confused and we have little guidance as to what is going on. Business is going downhill with this team and it's reflected in the numbers.
