Pros

Your coworkers are really nice. It is easy to build long term relationships with the people you work with.

Cons

Some customers believe that just because you work there they can just walk all over you, and news flash majority of the time they can. Different managers like to pull you to different departments without covering your. The management really sucks. There are too many managers trying to power play so the employee suffers

Pros

It is easy to get in the door at Walmart, it is even easy to reach an hourly management position/

Cons

Walmart doesn't advance its most qualified people. Advancement in the company comes down to little more than a popularity contest.

Pros

Decent pay on some thing. Pay is based off your total work experience from your life, this is makes it possible to try a new job you're interested in without taking a huge cut in wages. Hours and benefits are kinda nice if you are single with no kids.

Cons

Complete lack of accountability. Everyone is drones, no work ethic it's simply a job for them. The caliber of people you work with is pretty low, so if you're actually a reliable worker you will probably be dissapointed with the people around you. Because let's face it...if you can't find a job...what's the easiest fall back? Walmart. Hours were pretty long, which isnt an issue if you're single. But it can get monotonous. A simple truth is you're probably not going to move up from being just a regular employee.
