Pros

-Better pay than most retail stores -Great benefits (health insurance, 401k, PTO, PPTO) -Ability to move around to different positions in the store to find the best fit for you -Opportunities for advancement

Cons

-Short-staffed, doesn't replace or hire people much -You won't have weekends or holidays off except maybe once in a while if you ask for it -Management usually won't fix problems - they act like they care, but they really don't -Too much "hand holding" when it comes to handling issues with associates

Pros

Fast-paced work environment, easy to shop for groceries

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, condescending managers who are out of touch with the work itself, fragmented pay increases that pit departments against each other, overall horrible company decisions that come off as exploitative in every sense

No work life balance anymore , if you need certain days off and shift they most likely won't work with you
