Pros

They will give you up to 40 hours per week. They will pay a semi decent pay, anywhere from $9-$10.50, if you have experience that will increase. Flexible hours.

Cons

The volume of customers are a huge con, you will have to deal with 500+/day, at most stores. Another is that Walmart is basically a high school. There is constantly drama no matter what department you're in.

Pros

Some of the best people I've ever worked with which made me stay at the job for so long. The pay is nice as well.

Cons

The stress of the job is nowhere near what I would say could justify the price, you are expected to shoulder angry customers no matter what department you work in, constantly changing rules and regulations that no one updates you on, unsafe work conditions at best, no chances to move up in management/store and an overarching sense of not being wanted/being expendable.

Pros

Good people to work with; fun to be around and make it fun.

Cons

Management is OK; a little lax in getting stuff done or unrealistic standards for your department. Needs to be better at training for department, especially deli.
