Management is very understanding of employee concerns Everyone works together as a family Provide good Benefits Compensation is pretty good

Cons

Benefits don't kick in until a year after employment Have to be able to work during most holidays as Wegmans is open 364 days of the year Stand all day and only get a 10 min break every 4 hours

Wegmans is a great place to work if you're looking for another career. If it doesn't work out, Wegmans has your back. Most of the management did not think they would be working at Wegmans after they had graduated from college. If a company is going to treat you well, why not stay and reap the benefits...

Cons

As part of the management team your two days off are during the week. It is not very fun to have a spouse that has off on the weekends while you're stuck at work. Especially for employees in the Washington D.C. area whoses spouses may work Mon.- Fri., 9-5.

the atmosphere is really nice and constructive. the bosses are supportive and make sure that you and them are doing their jobs right.

Cons

Sometimes management can be a little sub par and for part time employees the maximum number of hours to work is 32.
