Great place to work as a young student

Pros

They were very flexible to work around my busy schedule, including school and sports. As a cashier it was usually easy to find a sub or work with the management to fill a shift. The student scholarship is great.

Cons

Being a cashier often times is boring and I did not ever switch departments or get any new work to do.

Pros

Very flexible scheduling, nice people, fun atmosphere, little perks like fully catered holiday parties, great for a first job for students who are still in school, as they greatly prioritize making sure their employees have the schedules they need for class or sports, etc.

Cons

Management often plays favorites, the work can get outrageously monotonous, it is often hard to get management's attention to let you switch to different departments. Also, no employee discount on store merchandise (though there's discounts for other companies, like movie theaters and the like).

Pros

It's a good place to work if you're going to school or as a second job. It can be fun if you enjoy spending time with your fellow associates. They're good about giving you quarterly coupons for some free stuff.

Cons

Middle Management, at least in my experience, is awful! My boss had no problem sharing intimate details of my personal life.
