Pros

Wegmans as a whole offers many job oppurtunities to its employees. They are very liniant when wanting to take time off and the pay was pretty decent.

Cons

The only porblem i had with Wegmans was with my management. It was impossible to get promoted thier...i worked my butt off and the only reason why i got promoted from cashier to service desk was because i threatened to go to corporate, with how badly the management didnt care. I hear though that every other Wegmans is a great place to work, i guess i just got bad luck gettin stuck with this horrible management.

Pros

Wegmans is a great place for part time student employees. It offers very flexible availability and you stay an employee if you leave town for school. The jobs are easy and Wegmans offers many different places to work in. Every 6 months there's a standard 25 cent raise which adds up over years. Also, for holidays, Sundays, and days they call you in, you receive a dollar extra for each an hour for that day. It's a wonderful place to work for easy money and also a great place to work socially as well.

Cons

Some downsides are they rely mainly on underage high school kids to work. This is difficult because of many constantly changing schedules and call ins. Also, you really need to have a friend in another department for any hopes of transferring off of front end (cashier).

Pros

For high school and college students it is a great place to work because the company is very flexible with hours and allows you to take time off while you're away at school. The scholarship program is a great benefit too.

Cons

Pay increases are based on how long you have worked for the company and not on work performance.
