Pros

Good pay during pre-covid that did not require a bachelors degree

Cons

All the entry and mid-level positions in my office where outsourced overseas. I predicted this several months prior to my resignation.

Pros

Highly experienced cyber security and technology professionals.

Cons

Salaries are not competitive with the market. It was very difficult to find other opportunities for advancement. Managers hired friends who were not qualified for the position. It became a very toxic environment. The environment was in a constant state of change (reorganization, frameworks, methodologies, etc.). Senior management would restructure business groups without considering the downstream effects and business processes would fall through the cracks and sometimes those processes would be related to regulatory requirements.
