Pros

While it lasted, my group made large sums of money and grew for decades. In general, Wells is a huge bureaucracy and as long as you find a good niche to fill you can end up staying employed with them for years.

Cons

Lots of inefficiencies. You have to ask for approval to do anything meaningful in most groups. Try and get into a group with management that is "in the club" with the higher ups and you should be fine. None of my advice applies to retail banking jobs. The people who work in this part of the bank are usually removed from any decision making part of the WF behemoth by dozens of levels.

Pros

Team members are awesome. Very supportive and positive thinkers.

Cons

Compensation practice is a bother. Seems to have employees work 10 times harder for less incentive compensation then Wachovia did without a compensation cap. Honestly, Wachovia had it made in compensation than any bank.

Pros

great company name. financially stable and sound. rapid growth. the people.

Cons

senior management has no desire in valuing or positively reinforcing team members. the only thing they want is numbers, numbers, numbers! unappreciated and overworked.
