      Pros

      They have a great 401 k match, 100%! Wells also offers a secondary pension plan, but you have to be there 5 years to vest. Wells offers a very comprehensive product line, so you can sell or refer for almost any financial need

      Cons

      It seemed that promotion and incentive were mostly based on favoritism and branch. If you were placed in a good branch and made a good impression, you were going to qualify for a lot of incentives and a chance to move up. If you were placed in a branch in a poor sales neighborhood, you had to work twice as hard to get anything. Secondly, sometimes finding the person to refer to or to ask a question of was almost impossible.

      Pros

      Great place to work! Loved the competitive atmosphere involving quaterly sales goals. While the gaols were difficult to reach, the environment was fast paced and exciting. Wells Fargo does a great job training its tellers in both sales and customer service.

      Cons

      The banking industry is very competitive. In a retail branch the opportunity for upward mobility is difficult once you become a personal banker. Often Bankers are making the same salary for 5-10 years.

      Great Volunteer and Networking Opportunities They love to promote from within Some managers/branches really are a place for learning and growth

      Cons

      Unrealistic sales requirements that are constantly changing . Find yourself in a situation of he said/she said? Better get your numbers up, the person with the highest sales is always right.
