Pros

Lots of opportunity for growth and learning if you take the initiative. Work/Life balance is excellent.

Cons

Managers are not held accountable for aiding their team members' careers. The company could do more to walk the talk of "our employees are our most important assets".

Pros

Job security for most of the position within the company. From my experience, I was given a lot of freedom to complete my work. Most of the managers do not like to micromanage.

Cons

Full of favoritism among the management team. Other than the sales team, those who produce the most rarely gets the proper raise they deserve. Those who likes to play politics usually is the highest paid individual and they normally are the least productive. I've been in numerous departments and this have been the case. Everyone claims that Wells has great benefits. That is false. We have variable hoildays where we will be charged a PTO on Martin Lurther King day. The company will charge us a PTO day on any holiday other than New Years, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial, and Labor day. Othe companies would not charge their employees. The 25 PTO days I receive includes the 2 week sick days that other companies provide for their employees. At the end the benefits are all the same.

Pros

Growth Opportunities and excellent training. The amount of training says a lot about what the company will invest in it's employees. They strive to have a very diverse and cohesive work place and it shows. I have worked in a number of large corporations with training programs, and Well Fargo has great follow through which shows in the various levels of management. Another great trait of Wells Fargo is it looks to promote from within the company first.

Cons

Very young workforce in retail positions.
