Pros

A good portion of managers receive training on how to support their employees more effectively; training, coaching and using resources.

Cons

People are expected to work their way up from the very bottom. Having a higher educational degree is not recognized as an asset. I've read an email where a mid-level manager wrote, "a college degree only shows they know how to test well." Many mid-level managers have no secondary education and end up repeating operational mistakes; with human resource management, ethical behaviors, and appropriate risk management; over and over again.

Pros

Great opportunities to learn / advance within the company. Encourages personal development through training opportunities outside and within the company. Managers are helpful in understanding personal needs and making accommodations to individuals. Friendly atmosphere, great co-workers, great enviornment to work in, customers are pleasant, great benefits, great vacation time and jobs security.

Cons

Wells Fargo is generally a great, exciting, fast pased, motivating place to work. There are the same drawbacks that any large comany would have but I can't even think of what they are at the moment so they cant be that bad.

Pros

They have good benfits and the co-workers are great.

Cons

Managment is slow to react to employee needs. They have a sales mentality which is not always eithical. Their products are very expensive! They are always looking for a way to charge you for anything the can. They want their bankers to sell products to anyone and everyone with no regard if they need it.
