Pros

They have a defined severance policy that is very generous and unlimited PTO that you got to respectably use.

Cons

Open office concept for everyone except VPs. It's very distracting to have your desk out in the open without even a cubicle wall. It seems to be that every year, there are rolling layoffs. They keep a core and just rotate teams out.

Pros

Competitive salary compared to industry standards. Hybrid work arrangement offers some flexibility.

Cons

Western Union has become an increasingly unstable place to work. Regular layoffs mean job security is non-existent—you could wake up jobless any day. Top management is demanding, with little regard for how employees get the job done, as we have no choice but to comply in fear of losing our jobs. Leadership shows minimal interest in employee welfare, cutting feedback opportunities from quarterly to just once a year. The weak leadership fails to stand up for their teams, creating a poor work environment where employees feel unsupported and undervalued.
