Pros

- Coming out of College its a job to get your feet wet if you don't have internship or coop experience - Ok... benefits. -Free time, you can leave and show up whenever you like and management may never notice. Especially if your not on their radar. - You'll bond heavily with your co-workers cause its you vs the management and management will try to win every battle. -Some people will help you get out of there... -Can't get fired unless you really screw up.

Cons

-Don't expect to receive good training and if it is good training they'll make sure to ruin any chance of you actually receiving it fully. - They'll move you with little to no notice, especially on your dime by nickling and diming your expense report. - They'll also move you to place that you don't want to go and threaten your job while your at it. (See pro about job security... cause they are definitely lying.) - Sometimes you wonder if management even knows your name, which is sad because they pretend to know you... - Management has 0 communication to its employees, sometimes you have to contact people you know on the project site in order to even know there is a opportunity coming. - Wipro travel policies are horrendous.

They pay better base salaries now then when I joined. You can work at and get access to some great customer companies.

Cons

16 hour days. turnover approaching 40% in some areas; 25% in most other areas. incompetent co-workers uncompetitive offerings and pricing not able to staff positions in the U.S. and have a tough time staffing positions in India uncompetitive pay and bonus unrealistic sales targets unwilling to make any investments to grow or provide new and competitive offerings.

The worst company to work for

Pros

- they hire recent college grads and offer training - good name for a resume as they are somewhat recognized in the US - good insurance

Cons

- complete lack of structure on job descriptions and assigments - unethical, dishonest and they rely on "favors" and they expect you to do the same - constant and unannounced management changes - most managers are Indian and don't have US culture understanding or have lived in the US long enough - cultural gaps are too big to close, my manager had no manners or respect for my work or personal time calling me on weekends at late at night - expect to use up all your savings supporting company travel if you are on a consulting role - they take for ever to pay expense reports since they process them in India - all accounting is based out of there so if you have any discrepancies good luck in dealing with the "offshore" team - Your paycheck will come always AFTER any holiday or weekend instead of earlier like in every "normal" US company. They hold on to money as long as they can to gain interest on their accounts at your expense. - The salary rates are incredibly low. Once you are on board, you realize that less experienced people make more than you do - beware college grads!
