Wipro is single worst employer in Switzerland and for Swiss/European, provides absolutely zero work security/structure/career.
You basically work in a labor camp where policies are set by people so detached to what is actually going on, its almost unbelievable it still has any customers.
Dont get me wrong, I met some fantastic people, but this company is atrocious.
Examples:
Money is sometimes not paid in time. Guess what. Noone cares. Which brings me to..
HR departament for DA/CH/DE is one Indian guy sitting in Frankfurt with zero idea about the actual labor law. So if you dont get paid, its your problem really, not Wipro.
Try to resolve this and maybe after 2 months of emails from pillar to post you will get something..
Indian employees are used to ridiculous policies that only work if they are good for company, never for employee. So they learnt to cope. For Europeans it is such a culture shock that anyone must have a right attitude to get anything with that company.
Worst of all. Remember. You will only ever be a resource. Not human. Resource. That for any reason unrelated to your work can be culled. And they will sooner or later. Thats your career.
If you are happy with sliding by and getting just by, you will be fine. But trust this review, if you hope for any career or development. Zero. Nothing. Nada.
I am extremely happy I got out in time. Be careful prospective employee and do not make any long term plans on the basis of job security. It doesnt exist. You have been warned.
