Pros

None at all; The Pay is a lie; no vacation insurance I had to pay crazy prices for my prescriptions which I never seen

Cons

Bed bugs and bad management This place is a complete joke with no moral; I’m just there to collect a check. which they can’t even get right most of the time. I’ve been working there for 6 months and they still haven’t corrected my last name which causes conflict when I handle personal business outside of work. I can go on for days but long story short don’t even waste your time

Pros

I interviewed at Buildit's Denver Colorado branch for a front-end position and shortly accepted an offer thereafter. My review here mostly covers that process and my exposure to their work environment so far. I found the company through a LinkedIn job posting and had no clue what to expect. Overall my experience was very pleasant. - Fast offer turnaround time - Interview was logical and didn't have any trick questions or crazy whiteboard exercises - Easily accessible downtown location - WeWork office provides tons of on-site perks - Open desk work environment (no walls). Might be a con if you don't like this sort of work setting - Focus on long-term retention of employees

Cons

My cons are pretty minimal and more of good to know items. - Code review was a bit intimidating. They do ask for a lot, but in turn they use it to simplify the final interview. Was very happy that people I'd be working with actually ran and reviewed my submitted code. It took me a couple days of spare time to complete the coding challenge - Onboarding does take a week or two after receiving a pre-offer letter. I think this is mostly because of proper background checks and internal paperwork. Not a bad thing, but good to be aware of

Pros

Benefits are effective day 1 Compensation was negotiable Casual dress code ( jeans are allowed Mon- Sun) Met a few great individuals whom I’ve been able to establish a lasting friendship with.

Cons

No structure No training Ran like a start-up Employees have all access to the HR office, are allowed to drop in at any time which can cause a delay on getting your day to day workload complete. Chaotic environment Lacks respect/Integrity from upper management Processes are mostly manual. There no real electronic processes/systems in place which I find very odd for a technology company. However, the tools that are “supposedly” in place never work causing huge convenience. Lacks proactive communication overall. Processes are very inconsistent, nobody is ever on the same page. New hires risk not being paid on time even if it’s not his/her error. Keep in mind payroll in located in India therefore if there are any errors there will be an additional 10 business days to get paid. There’s a lot work to be done with this organization, especially at the Davidson location. Lacks professionalism.
